New study aims to stop silent killer clots in hospitalized teens

Summary
This study tests whether a blood thinner called enoxaparin can prevent dangerous blood clots in critically ill teenagers. About 802 teens aged 12-18 in intensive care with a central line and infection will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the drug safely reduces clot risk without causing serious bleeding.
