NCT ID NCT06717594
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study observes 60 adults with hard-to-treat bacterial infections caused by carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE). Participants receive either one or two antibiotics (ceftazidime/avibactam with or without fosfomycin). Researchers measure how well the drugs reach effective levels in the body and track infection markers over 7 days. The goal is to learn more about dosing and effectiveness, not to test a new cure.
