First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested a decision aid to help adults aged 76-85 with low health literacy decide about colorectal cancer screening. 60 participants from community health centers used the tool to see if it changed their screening intentions and knowledge. The goal was to improve informed decision-making, not to treat cancer directly.
