Experimental drug combo offers hope for tough blood cancers

Summary

This early-stage trial is for people with high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) whose cancer came back or didn't respond to standard therapy. The study tests a chemotherapy drug combo called CPX-351 to find the safest dose and see if it can control the disease. About 38 participants will be enrolled at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
