New hope for refugees: culturally sensitive therapy targets complex trauma

Summary
This study tests a therapy designed for refugees and asylum seekers with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD), a condition from severe, long-term trauma. About 288 participants in Switzerland and Germany will receive a culturally adapted version of a proven treatment. The goal is to see if this approach reduces CPTSD symptoms more effectively than standard care.
