Can video games train kids to save lives? brazilian study tests new CPR teaching method
NCT ID NCT06565767
Summary
This study tested a new way to teach CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to schoolchildren in Brazil using video games and video-based training. Researchers worked with 336 children aged 7 to 17 to see how well they learned to perform chest compressions and if age made a difference in their skills. The goal was to gather knowledge on effective teaching methods, as CPR is not currently a standard part of the school curriculum in Brazil.
