NCT ID NCT05813847
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called CPL-01 to see if it can control pain after open inguinal hernia surgery. About 518 adults received either CPL-01, a standard painkiller, or a placebo. The main goal was to measure how much pain people felt during activity using a 0-to-10 scale. The results will help determine if CPL-01 is a safe and effective option for managing post-surgery pain.
