Summary
This study tested a new COVID-19 booster vaccine (called AVX/COVID-12) in healthy adults who had already been vaccinated. The main goal was to see if this new booster was as safe and effective at boosting the immune system as an already-approved COVID-19 vaccine. Over 4,000 participants in Mexico received either the new booster or the control vaccine and were followed for up to six months.
