NCT ID NCT07203235
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This observational study looked at 26 adults—some with a below-knee amputation and some without—to see how core function and endurance relate to balance, walking speed, and body awareness. Participants performed tests of core strength, balance, and joint position sense. The goal was to understand whether amputees have reduced core function and how that might affect their movement. No treatment was given; the study simply measured and compared abilities.
