First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a program of computer brain games and supervised physical exercise, done before and after major surgery, can help older adults (60+) maintain their thinking skills and daily functioning. 250 participants will be randomly assigned to either the active program or a control group doing simple computer games and stretches. The goal is to see if this approach improves recovery and to understand who benefits most.
