First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) for 4 weeks to the usual COPD treatment (LABA/LAMA) can improve how well the blood vessels in the lungs work. Researchers will measure blood vessel response in 30 adults with COPD, ages 40-80, who have smoked in the past. The goal is to see if this combination helps lung function and oxygen levels.
