Can a simple email change how doctors prescribe COPD inhalers?

NCT ID NCT07181915

Summary

This study aims to see if the wording of emails sent to doctors can improve how they prescribe inhalers for COPD, a chronic lung disease. It involves 270 general practices in West Yorkshire. Researchers will compare personalized feedback emails against generic ones to see which is more effective at encouraging doctors to follow the latest prescribing guidelines, using existing NHS data.
