Summary
This study tested a program in Xishui, China, that encouraged doctors to focus on the overall health of people at high risk for COPD. Over 9,300 adults aged 35 and older with a high COPD risk score took part. The program included lung tests, health education, and help managing other conditions like smoking, mental health, and high blood pressure. The goal was to see if this approach could improve COPD knowledge, screening, and lung function after one year.
