Summary
This study tested a new scoring tool (GLORI-COPD) to see how well it can identify COPD patients at risk of serious complications like lung infections. Researchers enrolled 462 smokers or former smokers aged 35 and older who had not been previously diagnosed with COPD. The goal was to improve early detection in general practice so that high-risk patients can get timely care.
