NCT ID NCT04895579

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested whether adding the drug copanlisib to the standard immune therapy durvalumab is safe and can help overcome resistance in people with stage III non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Eleven participants who had already received chemotherapy and radiation took part. The main goal was to check for side effects, and researchers also looked at whether the combination helped shrink tumors or delay cancer growth.
