Team approach may ease back pain disability

Summary
This study tests whether a coordinated care team—including general practitioners, physiotherapists, and occupational health services—can reduce long-term disability in people with subacute or recurrent acute low back pain. About 500 adults with jobs will either receive standard care or this team-based approach. The goal is to see if better teamwork leads to less pain-related disability after one year.
