First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether cooling the body to a mild 33°C (about 91°F) within 24 hours of a severe neck spinal cord injury can improve nerve function and recovery. Researchers will compare 120 adults who receive this cooling treatment to similar patients who did not. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better movement and independence.
