First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at whether using a contrast dye during ultrasound, done while surgery is happening, helps surgeons see liver tumors from colorectal cancer more clearly. 68 adults with operable liver metastases took part. The goal was to see if this extra imaging changed the surgical plan in a helpful way.
