First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study aims to create a more accurate test for concussions in football (soccer) players by using exercises that mimic real game situations. Researchers will test 100 male players, from teens to professionals, to see how well they perform tasks like dribbling while remembering colors or counting whistles. The goal is to provide a baseline for normal performance, so after a head injury doctors can better decide when it's safe to return to play.
