First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested whether a computer-based tutorial (CatInfo) helps patients learn about cataract surgery before talking to their doctor. 90 adults were split into two groups: one watched the tutorial, the other did not. Researchers measured how much patients knew and how long the doctor visit took. The goal was to see if the tutorial improves understanding and saves time.
