First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at two different blood pressure goals for adults who just had brain tumor surgery. Half the patients will have a target of less than 160 mmHg, the other half less than 140 mmHg. Researchers want to see which group leaves the hospital sooner, without more bleeding in the brain. The trial will enroll 500 people at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
