Summary
This study compares three treatments for severe obesity: bariatric surgery (gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy) and two weekly injections, semaglutide and tirzepatide. About 125 adults with a BMI of 35 or higher will be followed for one year to see which approach leads to the most weight loss. The goal is to help doctors and patients choose the best option for long-term weight management.
