Summary
This study aims to compare the safety and effectiveness of three different weight loss surgeries for severely obese teenagers. Researchers at Yale University are following 26 adolescents who choose to have either gastric band, gastric sleeve, or gastric bypass surgery. The goal is to track their health, weight, and blood sugar control for two years after surgery to see which procedure works best.
