Study tests which uterine biopsy method gets better samples for diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07349108

Summary

This study compared two common procedures used to collect tissue samples from the uterus in women aged 30-60 with abnormal bleeding. Researchers wanted to see whether manual vacuum aspiration or dilation and curettage provides better quality tissue samples for laboratory analysis to identify the cause of bleeding. The study also measured pain levels 24 hours after each procedure to understand patient discomfort.
