First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study compares a new type of stomach bypass surgery (partial stomach-partitioning gastrojejunostomy) to the standard surgery for people with advanced stomach cancer that blocks food from leaving the stomach. The goal is to see which surgery better relieves the blockage, reduces complications like delayed stomach emptying, and improves quality of life. About 80 adults with advanced stomach cancer that cannot be removed will take part.
