Prostate cancer imaging showdown: which drug hits tumors harder?

NCT ID NCT06516510

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This early-stage study compared two radioactive drugs (177Lu rhPSMA-10.1 and 177Lu vipivotide tetraxetan, also known as Pluvicto) in 17 men with metastatic prostate cancer that cannot be cured. The goal was to see which drug delivers more radiation to tumors while sparing the kidneys. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
