First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares two non-invasive brain stimulation techniques for treating depression: right-sided 1-Hz rTMS and left-sided iTBS. Researchers want to see if the right-sided method works as well as the standard left-sided one. The trial will involve 350 adults with unipolar or bipolar depression, measuring symptom improvement and side effects.
