First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study compares two types of minimally invasive back surgery for people with long-term low back pain caused by worn-out discs. One hundred adults who haven't gotten relief from non-surgical treatments will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries. Researchers will track pain, disability, quality of life, complications, and costs for a year to see which approach works better.
