Summary
This study tested whether a once-daily extended-release water pill (Torsemide) works as well as the standard twice-daily water pill (Furosemide) in adults with stable congestive heart failure. Researchers measured how much salt the body released over 24 hours and tracked weight changes. The study was stopped early and included only 20 participants.
