Robot vs. transanal surgery: which is better for low rectal cancer?

Summary

This study compares two modern surgical methods for treating low rectal cancer: transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME) and robot-assisted surgery (RTME). The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer complications and better recovery. About 216 adults with newly diagnosed low rectal cancer will take part.
