New study compares simpler surgery for undescended testicles in kids
NCT ID NCT07233265
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares a newer, single-incision surgery through the scrotum with the standard two-incision method for fixing undescended testicles in boys under 10. Researchers will measure how long each surgery takes, how the scar looks, and any problems after surgery. The goal is to see if the simpler method works just as well with better cosmetic results.
