First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at 80 women with stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing or sneezing) who had one of three common surgeries: TOT, TVT, or Burch colposuspension. Researchers used ultrasound to measure changes in the bladder and urethra before and 3 months after surgery, and also asked women how they felt. The goal was to see which surgery gives the best short-term results, helping doctors and patients make better treatment choices.
