NCT ID NCT03440801
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at 240 people who had a heart attack and received a stent to open a blocked artery. Researchers compared two types of stents—one with a coating that dissolves over time and one with a permanent coating—to see how well the artery healed after 3 years. The goal was to check for new plaque buildup and other signs of healing inside the stent.
