Summary
This study tested different sedation medications for colonoscopy to see which works best and is safest. 183 adults aged 18-60 received one of several sedation regimens given by non-anesthesia providers. The goal was to find the best balance of deep relaxation, quick onset, and few side effects like low blood pressure or breathing problems.
