Laser combo may improve raised scar treatment, small study finds
NCT ID NCT07263100
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a laser treatment to standard steroid injections helps improve raised scars (hypertrophic or keloid scars) better than steroid injections alone. Twenty adults with such scars participated. The researchers measured scar appearance using a standard scale. The goal was to see if the combination approach leads to better-looking scars.
