First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compares two types of brain stimulation for depression: right-sided 1-Hz rTMS and left-sided iTBS. The goal is to see if the right-sided method works as well as the left-sided one. About 350 adults with unipolar or bipolar depression will receive one of the two treatments, and their mood improvement will be measured. The study is recruiting now in Sweden.
