NCT ID NCT06741410

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at 94 women having planned C-sections under spinal anesthesia. It compared two medicines used to prevent low blood pressure: one given as a steady drip (phenylephrine) and the other as rescue shots (ephedrine). The goal was to see which approach leads to better oxygen levels in the baby's umbilical cord blood at birth.
