First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study compares three types of small devices placed between teeth before braces to see which one causes the least pain, creates the best spacing, and affects daily life the least. About 144 people aged 12 to 25 who need braces will be randomly assigned to one of three separator types. Results will help orthodontists choose the most comfortable and effective option for their patients.
