New lens aims to sharpen vision after cataract surgery

Summary

This study compares a new trifocal lens (D615L) to a standard lens (Zeiss 839MP) for people having cataract surgery. The goal is to see if the new lens provides better vision at all distances without glasses. 90 adults with age-related cataracts will receive one of the two lenses and be followed for at least 6 months to measure visual sharpness and quality of life.
