First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two dental materials used during root-end surgery to treat persistent tooth infections that didn't heal after a root canal. About 110 healthy adults will receive either ProRoot MTA or TotalFill putty as part of their surgery. Researchers will check healing with 3D X-rays after one year to see which material works better.
