First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares a new form of LASIK called Ray-Tracing Guided LASIK to three other common vision correction surgeries for nearsightedness and astigmatism. About 120 adults aged 22-50 will have one eye treated with the new method and the other eye with one of the other surgeries. The goal is to see which approach gives the sharpest vision without glasses or contacts up to one year after surgery.
