New vs. old: which labor chart leads to healthier moms and babies?
NCT ID NCT07445373
Summary
This study aims to find out if a newer labor monitoring tool (the WHO Labour Care Guide) leads to better health outcomes for mothers and newborns compared to an older, more traditional chart. Researchers will randomly assign women in active labor to be monitored with one of the two tools and then compare results like labor duration, delivery method, and baby's health at birth. The goal is to gather evidence on which monitoring method helps healthcare teams make better decisions during childbirth.
