Study tests if fewer daily insulin shots work as well for diabetes

NCT ID NCT05417841

Summary

This study compared two different daily insulin schedules for people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers wanted to see if taking a specific combination insulin twice a day worked as well for blood sugar control as taking it once a day plus a fast-acting insulin twice a day. The trial involved 218 adults and measured changes in average blood sugar levels over 16 weeks.
