First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compared three methods of preparing the jawbone for dental implants in people with low bone density. Thirteen participants received implants using either a special bur, a bone-condensing tool, or standard drilling. The goal was to see which technique gives the best initial stability, which helps implants heal and last longer.
