NCT ID NCT07142382

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares three ways to take a sitz bath after surgery for a perianal abscess (an infected pocket near the anus). About 102 adults will be randomly assigned to use a regular bath, a manual rinse, or an electric rinse bidet three times daily. The goal is to see which method helps the wound heal fastest and reduces pain, swelling, and complications.
