Summary
This study compares two types of targeted therapy pills (first-generation vs third-generation EGFR TKIs) for people with advanced lung cancer that has a specific rare mutation called EGFR exon 19 deletion-insertion. About 94 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments to see which one helps them live longer without their cancer growing. The goal is to find the best first treatment option for this group of patients.
