This study tested two different drug combinations to safely end a non-viable pregnancy in the first trimester. 120 women were randomly assigned to receive either the standard treatment (mifepristone plus misoprostol) or an experimental one (letrozole plus misoprostol). The goal was to see which combination works faster and more completely, reducing the need for surgery.
