Summary

This study compares two different drug combinations for people recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. One group gets pioglitazone plus tirzepatide, the other gets metformin plus sitagliptin. The goal is to see which combo better lowers blood sugar and keeps it under control over time. About 256 adults aged 18-75 who were diagnosed within the last 5 years will take part.
