Cough showdown: new drug vs. standard for smoother anesthesia

Summary
This study compares two medications given during general anesthesia to see which one causes less coughing right after injection. About 190 adults having planned surgery with a breathing tube will take part. The goal is to find a drug that reduces this common side effect, making anesthesia safer and more comfortable.
