Laser vs. standard: which cataract surgery is gentler on the eye?
NCT ID NCT05119270
Summary
This study aimed to compare two newer technologies for cataract surgery against the standard method. It wanted to see if using a special laser or a new, pressure-sensing surgical tool during surgery would cause less damage to the cornea and require less energy. The goal was to find which approach might be safer and more effective for patients having routine cataract surgery.
